What to Make of Tab Trade - Launched March 2026, Here Is the Deal

Tab Trade — The Short Version

TabTrade went live in Q1 2026. CFD broker registered in Saint Lucia, under the FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, the New Zealand-regulated broker.

His background tells you something. It means the leadership has actually done this before. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. But better than someone with no brokerage experience.

The broker opened with execution through Equinix servers. Same facilities banks and hedge funds use. Most new brokers starts with a white-label MT4 setup. TabTrade went the other way. Interesting choice.

What you can trade: forex, stock indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, equities, crypto, ETFs. A wide spread. For something this new, that coverage is solid.

Platforms

Available: MetaTrader 5, cTrader, and a WebTrader. Both platforms from the same login. Most brokers only give you one or the other. Access to both makes a difference. You are not locked into one.

MT5 is the industry standard. Complete charts, automated trading, massive community. If you have used a MetaQuotes platform before, you know exactly what you are getting.

cTrader by Spotware is the more modern one. Better DOM. Smoother chart interaction. cBot support. A lot of traders like it better than MT5 after using both.

FIX API is there for algo traders but is only on the VIP account ($25,000 deposit). TradingView is said to be in the works. That should be a good addition once it is live.

Accounts and Pricing

Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. 1.0 pip spreads. Zero commission. Simple. Zero deposit requirement. Suits anyone who does not want to think about commission.

Edge. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips average. Commission of $3.50 each way. What you actually pay: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On majors, the raw spread is often below 0.2 pips. Meaning your real cost can be below 0.5 pips. That is hard to beat for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most brokers that have spreads this tight want $500 or more to open. TabTrade has no minimum.

VIP account. $25,000 deposit required. FIX API, sub-20ms execution, tailored rates. Not something typical accounts. Do not worry about it unless you run serious volume.

Execution Speed

This is the area where Tab Trade stands apart. Equinix servers in London. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. These are proper execution targets. The average platform run a much wider range.

Does it matter? If you scalp, yes. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is profit or loss on tight trades. If you trade higher timeframes, you probably will not feel it. The point is the setup is serious. That says what kind of broker this is.

Pair those fill times with the Edge account pricing and the total package holds up. Not many platforms with no minimum deposit offer execution like this.

The FSRA Question

Now, the thing you need to be straight about. The broker is regulated by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is tier-3. No FCA. No fund protection scheme. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight makes you uncomfortable, stop reading. There are FCA-regulated options out there.

However. The person running it built his career at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The server placement costs real money. Fly-by-night platforms do not invest in Equinix connectivity. This does not guarantee anything. It does factor into your assessment.

What you are accepting: you give up tier-1 protection. For that: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, no minimum deposit, Equinix execution. Whether this deal is worth it depends on you.

Deposit Bonus

Tab Trade offers a deposit bonus of up to $2,000. Usual sign-up bonus. You put money in, the broker top up your balance. Usual conditions attached: trading volume requirements before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Review the fine print before funding.
